Idrisi32 Release is the 32-bit Windows edition of the IDRISI geographic information system and image-processing software developed by Clark Labs at Clark University. Built around a raster-first architecture with integrated vector support, it offers a comprehensive toolkit for remote sensing, spatial analysis, and cartography.

Key capabilities include image import and preprocessing; classification, enhancement, and change detection; map algebra and terrain modeling; geostatistics; and spatial decision support such as multicriteria evaluation and suitability modeling. Idrisi32 supports common geospatial formats (including GeoTIFF, ERDAS IMG, ESRI Shapefile, and ASCII grids), provides projection and datum transformation tools, and enables workflow automation through a macro language. Its modular interface, clear documentation, and 2D/3D visualization options make it well suited for research, teaching, and applied projects in environmental monitoring, land-use mapping, natural resource management, conservation, and urban planning.
